日舞（英语：Sun Dance，或Sundance）是一種美洲原住民的祭祀舞蹈儀式，是當地的平原原住民部族的最重要儀式。雖然每一個部族的日舞習俗和表演模式都有所不同，但基本上都包含以下各個部份：

• 舞踏
• 歌唱
• 禱告
• 擊鼓
• 領受異象
• 禁食

另外，有部份部族還包括在胸部或背部進行刺穿或勾環。

The Sun Dance (or Sundance) is a religious ceremony practiced by a number ofNative American and First Nations peoples, primarily those of the Plains Nations. Each tribe has its own distinct practices and ceremonial protocols. Many of the ceremonies have features in common, such as specific dances and songs passed down through many generations, the use of traditional drums, the sacred pipe, tobacco offerings, praying, fasting and, in some cases, the piercing of skin on the chest or back for the men and arms for the women.

可是，如果你看過一些影片或是簡介影片，其實這整個是一個很可怕的事。不過還有不同版本的。

我也是因為一個朋友做了一首歌，取做 Sundancer，才知道美洲原住民原來有這樣的儀式... 

我本來突發奇想還想幫它做個 MV 之類的東西，所以才蒐集了一下影片，瞭解了一下狀況...

雖然已經打消了這個念頭，不過音樂很讚喔，聽聽看吧～
